Junji Ito Tomie 1/6 Collectible Statue
"This is my Masterpiece. I Call it... TOMIE!!!"
The Tomie project was commissioned to me, by Animegami Studios before the Cannon Busters SAM project.
But due the pandemy issues, was the most demorated to be ready for the public.
On this project, I was responsible for 3D modeling and Sculpting Tomie, her entire body, the base, with all the gory details, and I sculpted the 2nd, demonic alternative head. Totaly sculpted in Mudbox 2019.1.
I did all the posterior preparation process for correct 3d printing too: making cuts, keys and sockets
The clay renders are the same Clay renders made by me, inside Mudbox, to show them to Junji Ito for final approval. So, you are looking the final succesfull version that actualy is in production an available for sale to the public.
Tomie was another big goal in my career as Digital Sculptor. Because before Tomie, I didn't have a feminine sculpture, with manga aesthetics, in my portfolio.
I have included some real photos of the final, produced an hand painted statue too.
