Was a great pleasure to know that the first update of Mudbox 2018, (Mudbox 2018-1), was available for download on the 3 platforms: Windows, MAC and Linux.
And to celebrate it, I decided to do a sculpture of some creature with him.
And here it is, the Hammerpe, the original concept of Prometheus.
I liked that movie a lot. But I always wondered, because MPC did not make the Hammerpede as it was in the original concept art previous to the movie.
The entire modeling and sculpting work of the creature was made in Mudbox 2018 Update 1, the same the texturing process. and the retoplogy. The Unwrap UV mapping was made in 3DS MAX 2016. The rendering was made totally in Marmsoet Toolbag 3.
I only hope to find some spare time to do the rigging in MAX for a possible animation.
You can see the modeling and sculpting process in timelapse video I uploaded to my youtube channel.
